ACCEPT Ministry, Bangalore, India
Since the third year of our ministry, from 2003 on, Accept HIV/AIDS care ministry was partly supported financially by the government. This used to come to about 30% of our running cost. All on a sudden govt. policy has changed to cancel all such support to nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in the field of care and support. This is going to put a big burden on our service to the needy and destitute. As most of us know service through govt. hospitals are yet a long way from what it should be due to corruption and discrimination. Patients will be the losers in this change in policy.
Due to the need that still exists in this field Accept ministry has decided to continue the service we do and perhaps extent the service beyond just HIV/AIDS to other needy areas too. Palliative care and children ministry and other ministry in needy areas will continue and your prayers and support is asked for.
With this effective ministry gospel is presented to thousands and many have come to eternal hope in the Lord. Your help in prayers and practical support has helped us to faithfully manage this ministry for Gods glory in the past. At this critical junction we ask for your continued prayers and support. Accept ministry is managed by a team of ten believers in the board from 5 assemblies in Bangalore and is an outreach ministry of Agape Christian Assembly. This is a ministry managed by believers from assemblies and we ask believers /assemblies to see how they can partner with us in this noble service that brings hope to many. We believe that God who helped us hitherto will continue to guide us. Kindly pray for a committed doctor to come and help us as needed.
For the team
