Mrs. Kunjamma Thomas, 87 years (wife of the late M.D. Thomas,Mavelil House, Maramon), was called home on April 8th 2013 at 7:15AM in Dubai. She belongedto the Panickamattu family of Kaviyoor, Thiruvalla.

She was affectionately known to many as ‘(Mavelil) Ammachi’.Prior to her retirement, she was a teacher at the Noel Memorial School inKumbanadu, and was an active member of the Poovathoor Rehoboth BrethrenAssembly. She then moved to Dubai and lived with her children for over 20years. During this period, she was an active member of the Dubai BrethrenAssembly, too.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday the 13th from3:30-5:30 PM, at the Holy Trinity Main Church. An embalming service will beheld on Sunday the 14th from 2:00-3:00 PM, at Al Muhaisnah 2. The funeral service will be held at Maramon, Kerala, on Monday the 15th from 9:30-12:30PM.Her remains will be laid to rest at Poovathoor Rehoboth Brethren Assembly.
